Guru's Air Force one
Then what happened ? There was a multiple reaction back at home (I was staying with brother Mr Subramaniam). My brother lost hope on me. My other elder brother Mr Kunjithapatham commented that I don't take clean bath daily (his faith was that the prickly bubbles were the cause of unclean bathing). My sister-in-law Mrs Nagalakshmi appriciated me for having cleared all the hurdles during the selection process. She had a lot of confidence upon me and encouraged me. She bought a bottle of LACTO lotion and insisted to use that daily. In a week time, the bubbles have vanished. Then what happened ? Fir hona kya ? I was packed to Madras to my uncle's home (father's brother) as my exams were over with the instruction to go to AF Tambaram for re-medical examination. The ticket for Madras with student's concession was booked in west coast express. The Singara Chennai welcomed me with its two hands wide open. At Madras, one suba muhurtha day, I visited Tambaram and got declared medically fit. I was told that I am kept in reserve list. There lived an advocate Mr Lakshmi Narasimhan (my friend Sampth's father) above my uncle's flat. One hot summer Sunday afternoon (it was already month of May) he asked Sampath to post a letter for which he refused citing the hot afternoon but I requested him that I shall post that letter and did too immediately. This action impressed him and offered me a job as his typist. Daily I was accompanying him to Madras High Court in taxi. Meanwhile, I wrote a letter to AF Tambaram in the month of July, mentioning my change of address to Madras (as I was thinking I am settled with the job). There came a call letter from IAF, to report to AF Tambaram on 05 Oct. That's how my cousin took me beach station by cycle. Between, I forgot to mention that I could not clear my PUC exams. Now we are shifting our story to Bangalore Mail where we all were travelling and Bangalore is approaching.....Bangalore story to continue.
